Henry Residence Updates
Powering the Home
Another important step underway as the electrical crew is on site running wire throughout the home. This phase brings the home to life behind the walls—installing the wiring that will power lighting, outlets, appliances, and all of the modern features planned for the space. Careful planning during this stage ensures every room functions exactly as designed while preparing the home for the next phases of construction.
Comfort Taking Shape — HVAC Rough-In Underway
Another important phase in progress — HVAC rough-in is underway!
This is when ductwork, vents, and mechanical systems are carefully installed throughout the framing to ensure proper airflow, efficiency, and long-term comfort. Every run is strategically planned to maximize performance while keeping the home’s design clean and seamless.
Behind the walls is where true comfort begins. Once complete, we’ll be one step closer to insulation and drywall.
Building comfort from the inside out!
Big Pieces Falling Into Place
More great progress on site! Plumbing work is continuing, the stairs are officially installed, and we finally received the back-ordered window—always a big milestone that keeps everything moving forward.
Behind the Walls: Plumbing Rough-In Underway
Behind-the-walls progress in full swing!
Plumbing rough-in is underway, laying the groundwork for all the fixtures and functionality throughout the home. This is a critical step that sets everything up for the next phases of the build.
Behind the Walls: Plumbing Rough-In Underway
Behind the scenes progress in full swing!
While miscellaneous frame work continues our plumbers are on site running the rough-in, laying the groundwork for all the fixtures, kitchens, baths, and systems that will make this home fully functional. It’s one of those critical stages you won’t see in the finished home—but it’s what makes everything work perfectly.
LIVE Update from Andrew!
Quick live update from our Project Manager, Andrew, sharing the latest progress and what’s coming up next on this build. It’s always great to get a behind-the-scenes look at how everything is coming together on site!
Another Step Forward: Framing Complete
Framing is officially complete, and we’re moving right into the frame walk and punch-out phase.
Fascia installation is underway, and roof underlayment has been completed — another big step toward a weather-tight home.
Framing Nearly Complete
Framing is nearly complete, and the structure is really coming together. You can now see the layout, room flow, and scale of the home taking shape as we get ready to move into the next phase of construction.
Another exciting milestone checked off!
Framing Continues
Strong rooflines, defined elevations, and open interior volumes are coming together as framing progresses across the home. These views capture the scale, symmetry, and architectural character that set the foundation for everything to follow.
Each step forward reveals more of the design intent—turning plans into real spaces, one beam and angle at a time.
Framing Taking Shape
Walls are going up and the layout is really starting to take shape. This stage brings the plans to life—defining room sizes, ceiling heights, and the overall flow of the home. Exciting progress as we move one step closer to the finished build!
Major Framing Progress on the Main House
The main house is rising quickly with more and more framing progress each day. Exterior walls are going up, Zip System sheathing is being installed, and the structure is beginning to reveal its full footprint.
From different angles, you can really see this home taking form — framing crews are moving efficiently, and materials are staged and ready for the next phases.
Exciting momentum on-site, and we can’t wait to share more as this custom home continues to grow!
Framing Progress Continues
Our framing crew is making steady progress as the main house starts to take full shape. Walls, roof lines, and key structural elements are coming together, giving a clear look at the home’s overall form and flow.
This phase is where the floor plan turns into a real, tangible structure—every beam and wall placement setting the stage for the next steps in construction.
Framing in Full Swing
Framing is well underway on this project! The detached garage is taking shape, and framing continues throughout the main house as the structure really starts to come together. Exciting progress as we move one step closer to bringing this home to life.
Slab Poured & Framing Ready to Begin
This week we poured the slab for both the detached garage and the main house basement. Framing material has been delivered, and we’re officially ready to start the next phase. Exciting progress ahead!
Plumbing Check Completed
We use drone photography with augmented reality overlaying the plan to check for construction errors before the concrete is poured, many times avoiding costly repairs later in the process. The data can be also used for future reference if there is a plumbing issue even many years later.
Leveling Up: Slab Forming Begins
Forming the basement slab and detached garage is underway! This phase is all about creating the precise framework that will support the concrete pour. The crew sets up all structural edges, establishes correct elevations, and prepares for reinforcement—ensuring a strong, level, and long-lasting foundation.
Each step here sets the stage for everything that comes next. Progress is looking great!
Setting the Groundwork
Backfilling the foundation and grading the site are underway.
This step is all about preparing the land for long-term stability and proper drainage. By shaping the terrain and supporting the foundation, we’re setting the stage for a home that not only looks incredible — but performs well through every season.
Good drainage = a dry, durable, and healthier structure.
It’s one of those behind-the-scenes phases that makes all the difference later.
Sealing the Strength: Damp Proofing the Foundation Walls
Damp proofing in progress! This crucial step seals the foundation walls to prevent moisture from penetrating through the concrete. Unlike waterproofing, damp proofing is designed to stop soil moisture — keeping the interior dry and protecting the structure from long-term damage.
A properly damp-proofed foundation ensures durability, energy efficiency, and a healthy home environment. Every layer we apply helps protect what’s built above it.
Foundation Walls Going In!
Foundation walls are being poured — exciting progress as this home starts to take shape from the ground up!
Solid Foundations Taking Shape
Footers are in! The foundation is officially taking shape as the concrete has been poured and set. This stage marks a big step forward, creating the solid base that will support the structure above.
Next up: prepping for walls and vertical construction!
